Rose Balimba's Journey
👸 Rose Balimba was born from a desire to embellish food through original, colorful & fun tableware.
🌈 Faced with a tableware that is often serious, uncluttered, and rarely amusing, Rose Balimba wants to offer collections full of color through collaborations with quirky & talented artists.
🍄 With the idea of regularly renewing the themes and colors of the collections, each product is manufactured in small quantities, in limited edition, all handmade and painted in Portugal.
☀️ Rose Balimba’s aim is to shake up the tableware industry by proposing fun, pop & colorful ceramics to finally have fun with setting up your everyday table!
We designed 5 everyday key products :
🍽️ Large plates (for people who like eating in large plates, we’d rather put big cakes on them)
🥗 Small plates (for people who like having plates that look fuller! )
🍝 Pasta bowls (can also be nice for salads, just saying…)
🥣 Bowls (for soups, cereals, chips, or whatever you wanna put in them)
☕ Mugs (mostly for tea and coffee, but should you want to put pens in them, no one will stop you)
🌈 We are aiming to have several collections per year. Every single one of them will be designed by a different artist in line with Rose Balimba’s artistic direction (of course!). The shapes of the products won’t change, only the design will! So you will even be able to mix & match from all the different collections!
Our Production Process
👐 All of our products are handmade, and hand painted in Portugal by a small family business.
🌍 We love our planet, and we want to keep her going as long as we can. That is why Rose Balimba took a stand and decided to make all of its collections under the form of presales.
This means that we will produce only what you need/order. There will be no over production, no additional stocks.
🚚 The bulk order (1 per collection) will come by truck from Portugal to France and everything will be sent out from France directly.
📦 Our packaging is of course all ecofriendly & recyclable !
